Posting rules

  1. Choose your ad. Each ad includes a set number of photos:
    • Personal ad, 2 weeks: $1, free for current LVLOA members. Includes up to 3 photos.
    • Personal ad, 1 month: $5. Includes up to 5 photos.
    • Personal ad, 3 months: $10. Includes up to 10 photos.
    • Business ad, 2 weeks: $10. Includes up to 5 photos.
  2. The $1, $5, and $10 personal ads are for individuals selling personal items. Businesses, services, and commercial sellers must use the $10 business ad (2 weeks). Businesses may not post $1 ads.
  3. Current LVLOA members get a free 2-week personal posting only. When it expires, members must repost to keep the ad up (free again for another 2 weeks), or choose 1 month for $5 or 3 months for $10, paid at the LVLOA Square site. Longer ads cost the same for everyone. Member free postings do not apply to business ads.
  4. $5 and $10 personal ads and $10 business ads are paid directly to the LVLOA through its Square site. After you send your ad, a button takes you there. Online payment for $1 personal ads is coming soon.
  5. No ad may be over 100 words. This applies to everyone, members and business ads included.
  6. Ads come down when their time is up. Each listing shows the date it runs until. A business ad runs 2 weeks (14 days).
  7. Sold it, or want your ad taken down early? Tap the Sold / Remove my ad button on your listing and enter the phone number or email you used on the ad. Once it is checked against your ad, the ad is taken down, usually within an hour during the day.

Buy Sell Trade: $1 personal ads help cover this site’s administrative costs, such as hosting and upkeep. $5 and $10 personal ads and $10 business ads are paid directly to the LVLOA through its Square site and go to the LVLOA Road Fund, which helps maintain Shroyer Drive. Paying for an ad does not make this site a party to any post or sale. A general donation to the LVLOA does not count as an ad payment.

This board is not run by the LVLOA. The Laguna Vista Land Owners Association is a nonprofit that supports roads, gates, and related community work; it does not operate or endorse this board. The board does not broker sales, endorse items or services, hold money for buyers or sellers, or take a commission. People who post and people who respond deal only with each other. Use of this board is at your own risk. Neither this site nor the LVLOA assumes responsibility for listings, transactions, safety, performance, errors, omissions, or changed information.

LVLOA membership, donations, and fees are handled by the association on its own site:
